Albizia Flower is a treasured Chinese herb traditionally used to support a calm, settled mood. It is a Shen tonic of the highest order in Chinese herbalism. These delicate pink flowers of the Chinese Mimosa Tree, when carefully and gently extracted, have been used for two thousand years in traditional practice to support emotional balance.

Dragon Herbs Albizzia includes a second herb, also referred to as Albizzia Flower in Chinese texts, but sourced from a different tree that grows in Southern China — a variety of the Magnolia tree. We have worked with this flower at Dragon Herbs for over 20 years. The combination of these two flowers creates a well-rounded Shen tonic traditionally used to support a settled, balanced mood during everyday overwork and fatigue.*

The delicate flower of the Albizia julibrissin (a variety of mimosa tree) has been used for centuries in Asian herbal traditions. A properly prepared extract of the freshly harvested flowers is traditionally valued for supporting a positive, balanced mood. In southern China, the flower from the Magnolia coco tree has been used similarly, valued for its aromatic, calming qualities. By combining these two flowers and extracting them using advanced technology to preserve their aromatic oils and other components, we produce a traditional Shen tonic that's naturally pleasant and easy to take.
