Signature Masala Chai Mix by Kolkata Chai Co
This isn't a powdered instant mix or a carton concentrate — it's the real thing. Kolkata Chai Co's Signature Masala Chai is the same recipe served at their critically acclaimed NYC chai café, rated one of the "Best Places to Eat" by Eater Magazine, where they've served over a hundred thousand cups since opening. Now you can brew it at home in minutes, your way.
Choose your brew style:
Loose Leaf Mix — The full artisan experience. Whole spices and CTC Assam tea granules brew together for maximum flavor depth. Ideal for those who love the traditional chai-making ritual and want to customize strength, milk, and sweetness to taste.
Tea Bags — All the same authentic flavor, in a convenient pre-portioned bag. Perfect for everyday brewing without measuring or straining. Drop in, simmer, and enjoy.
What's in every cup:
The tea base is 100% organic Assam CTC black tea — sourced from the hilltops of Assam, India. CTC (cut, torn, and curled) processing creates bold tea granules that cut through milk and spices for that unmistakable strong chai flavor. The spice blend brings together:
- Whole Cardamom — warm, herbal, and aromatic from the ginger plant family
- Cinnamon — floral, fruity, and naturally rich in antioxidants
- Cloves — dried flowers of the clove tree, bold and antioxidant-rich
- Black Pepper — adds characteristic heat and freshness
Fresh ginger is not included but highly recommended — add cut or shredded ginger as your chai simmers for an extra kick of warmth.
