Duanwood Reishi Drops by Dragon Herbs
The Herb of the Immortals — Organically Cultivated, Log-Grown, Fruiting Body Only
If there is one herb that stands above all others in the entire history of Asian tonic herbalism, it is Reishi. Ranked alongside Ginseng as one of the two supreme tonic herbs of the Chinese tradition, Reishi — known as Ling Zhi in Chinese — has been treasured for over 2,500 years for its capacity to promote radiant health, longevity, spiritual clarity and what TCM calls the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi and Shen.
Dragon Herbs Duanwood Reishi Drops represents the pinnacle of cultivated Reishi available anywhere in the world today — and that is not a marketing claim. It is a statement backed by Ron Teeguarden's personal decades of experience visiting and evaluating dozens of Reishi plantations across Asia.
What is Duanwood™ Reishi?
Duanwood™ — meaning "duan mu" or "original log" in Chinese — refers to the specific cultivation method that sets this Reishi apart from virtually every other cultivated product on the market.
Most commercial Reishi is grown on compressed sawdust substrate in indoor hothouses — a method that is efficient, standardized and inexpensive, but that produces a mushroom fundamentally different in character, potency and phytochemical profile from Reishi grown as nature intended.
Duanwood™ Reishi is grown on natural hardwood logs — the same trees that wild Reishi would colonize in a forest environment — in a remote, protected mountain forest on Wuyi Mountain in southern China. The plantation lies within a national biodiversity protection zone between a mountain hardwood forest and a pristine mountain stream. That stream, along with mountain rain and mist, is the only water source. The air is pure, the soil is unadjusted virgin forest loam, and there is zero pollution exposure.
This is not a hothouse. This is as close to wild Reishi as cultivated Reishi can get.
The Harvest — Timing is Everything:
Dragon Herbs Duanwood™ Reishi Drops is crafted with extraordinary precision in its harvest timing. The formula is made with:
- 50% Reishis that are on the verge of going to spore — at the absolute peak of their biological energy and potency
- 50% Reishis that have just released their spores on the very day of collection — capturing the unique qualities of post-spore mushrooms
This dual-harvest approach is intentional and significant. Reishi spores are among the most biologically active and potent materials the mushroom produces — a profound Jing and immune tonic in their own right. By incorporating both pre-spore and freshly post-spore mushrooms, Dragon Herbs captures a fuller spectrum of Reishi's bioactive potential than any single-stage harvest could provide.
Only mature fruiting bodies are used — never mycelia, which in traditional Asian herbalism is considered inferior in its tonic benefits.
What Duanwood Reishi Supports:*
Immune System Modulation
Duanwood Reishi enhances immune system balance and resilience through natural support — functioning as an immune modulator rather than a simple stimulant, supporting the body's capacity to respond intelligently to challenges.*
Mental Clarity, Focus & Intelligence
Traditionally believed to foster mental clarity, focus and the growth of wisdom. Reishi has been the herb of choice for meditators, spiritual practitioners and those seeking higher states of awareness across thousands of years of recorded use.*
Heart, Lung, Liver, Kidney & Spleen
Tonifies Qi, promotes circulation, and supports the Lungs, Spleen, Heart, Kidney and Liver — entering all five major organ meridians in the TCM system.*
Liver Health & Detoxification
Aids in maintaining healthy liver function and supporting the body's natural detoxification pathways.*
Healthy Aging & Longevity
Reishi has been used as an anti-aging tonic herb for millennia. It supports all three Treasures — Jing (foundational life essence), Qi (vitality and energy), and Shen (spirit and higher consciousness) — making it a complete longevity tonic unlike any other single herb.*
Stress, Sleep & Recovery
Supports adaptive stress response, promotes calm without sedation, and supports deep restorative sleep — making it one of the most complete daily wellness herbs available.*
The Triple Extraction Process:
Dragon Herbs Duanwood Reishi Drops is produced using a triple hydro-ethanolic extraction process — capturing water-soluble polysaccharides, alcohol-soluble triterpenes, and additional bioactive fractions that single or dual extraction methods cannot access.
The result is an 8:1 concentrated extract — meaning 8 pounds of Duanwood Reishi fruiting bodies go into every gallon of finished extract — in a rapidly absorbed liquid drop format that delivers bioavailable Reishi directly into your system within minutes of ingestion.
Other ingredients: Water and Grain Alcohol (30% by volume) — nothing else.
How to Use:
Take 3–12 droppers per day as desired or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Add directly under the tongue for fastest absorption, or stir into warm water, tea, coffee, or any beverage. Many practitioners use Duanwood Reishi Drops as their daily foundation herb, adding it to morning adaptogenic drinks or evening wind-down rituals.
FoodHealing Pro Tip: Duanwood Reishi and Wild Red Reishi are complementary — not competing — products. Duanwood provides consistent, daily standardized Reishi support, while Wild Red Reishi adds the irreplaceable depth and Shen potency that only truly wild mountain mushrooms can offer. As Ron Teeguarden teaches, rotating or combining both is an approach favored by serious tonic herb practitioners.
Storage: Keep tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
